These are my least favorite songs on the album and why
Just kidding, there are no bad songs on this album. I love every song for a different reason, whether that be purely based on sound, lyrics, or feel. I think the main reason I love this album so much is because one of my dearest friends introduced me to it. I met my friend Lucy freshman year of college and started listening to the album shortly after we met. I firmly believe that music carries far more meaning when you are able to share it with other people. Everytime I listen to this album, I think about who I was when I was a freshman in college versus who I am now. It reminds me of a time when I felt like I had so few things figured out. But now, I feel much more confident in who I am and who I hope I'm becoming.
Project Reflection
This project has been such a fun experience. Before I began the assignment, I felt like I barely knew anything and could not even imagine trying to code a website from scratch. It has been such a cool accomplishment to finish this project and realize that I have learned so much already. Some of the apsects of the website that I found most challenging were figuring out which colors and fonts to use. I've learned that I cannot rely on my eye alone as a judge of what is both visually appealing and easy to read. It took me a lot of time to figure out which colors would look best together. I also struggled with resizing images and figuring out where to place them on each page. That was a learning curve for me as I kept having trouble getting the images to show up on the page until I realized that my resized images created a new image file. Once I figured out that all I had to do was rename the newly resized image and delete the old copy of the previous image, my problem was solved. I felt particularly accomplished when I found myself not needing a reference to type out a link tag or an image tag. I also loved being able to test out different looks using my CSS stylesheet, seeing what amounts of spacing look the best and make the most sense on each page. I want to learn how to style images further and add more cool features to their appearance on a webpage.
